As a Senior Scientist of Analytical Sciences, you will be responsible for developing, characterizing, validating, transferring and maintaining analytical methods and their associated critical reagents within biologics Global Technical Operations (GTO). You will work closely with BioPharmaceutical Development and Quality Control to build the requisite technical knowledge to plan and execute activities internally and/or at third parties.
Accountabilities:
In this role, you will be a key player in our Operations team, driving the development and validation of analytical methods. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead projects, and ensure adherence to tech transfers and GMPs. Your expertise will be crucial in characterizing the totality of product quality using a broad range of analytical methods.
Essential Skills/Experience:
• Degree in biology, chemistry or related field. 5+ years of experience with Bachelors degree; 3+ years with Masters; and 0+ with Ph.D.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, collaboration and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, characterize and qualify/validate analytical methods per ICH Q2 (R2) Validation of Analytical Procedures and Q14 Analytical Procedure Development.
• Knowledge of tech transfers and GMPs.
• Experience leading a project with cross-functional internal and external teams.
• Broad range of analytical methods to characterize the totality of product quality including:
• H/UPLC (affinity, ion exchange, hydrophobic, RP).
• GC.
• CGE, CZE, cIEF.
• ELISAs.
• Higher order structure by methods such as near-UV CD, DSC DLS, SEC-MALS.
• FT-IR, Raman.
• LC-MS.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
• Ph.D. degree is preferred.
