The Customer & Applications Support Technical Instructor / Trainer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for designing, developing, coordinating, and delivering industry leading training to end users and support personnel.
This position is part of the Global Professional Development department located in Brea, CA, and will be onsite. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Brea Circle of Excellence Training Center team and report to the Sr Manager, NACO Center of Excellence Training responsible for ensuring that quality training is offered to meet the needs of our end users. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Deliver technical training programs and support materials for automation.
- Apply different adult learning styles and modalities to classroom instruction.
- Training content delivered via classroom, e-learning, webinars and other distance and self-paced, or on-demand learning methods.
- Design and develop training materials including storyboards, job aids, participant and instructor guides. All materials will be based on content and specifications provided by subject matter experts
- Work with service management to standardize global training content delivery.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in same fields with 0+ years of experience
- Experience with clinical informatics products
- Experience building and delivering product training curricula
- Experience comprehending and reviewing technical product documentation
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Use development content tools (Articulate, Camtasia, Storyline) to create effective and engaging e-learning.
The annual base salary range for this role is $75,000-$80,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
