Job Abstract

What You'll Do:

• Perform delegated nursing functions following established procedures, policies, and standards.
• Clean and disinfect patient care items and equipment, promptly notifying management of any issues.
• Manage patient interactions including answering phones, greeting visitors, and scheduling appointments.
• Obtain and document patient information required for scheduling and insurance purposes using Epic.
• Document observations and patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide health education to patients and their families under RN supervision.
• Actively participate in identifying and implementing clinical and operational improvements.

What You'll Bring:

• Completion of post secondary program in Medical Assistant or experience as a physician office OR
• American Association of Medical Assistants certification (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant certification (RMA), or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) preferred. OR
• Active LPN License from the State of Ohio;
  • Completes twenty-four (24) contact hours of approved CE during each two (2) years licensure renewal period consistent with requirements of Ohio Boarding of Nursing;
• Certified in IV therapy;
• Maintains continuous certification in American Heart Association BLS.
