In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Brightree application, specifically focusing on the reimbursement function. You will ensure accurate reimbursements by managing price tables, implementing validation rules and quantity limitations, to name a few. Reports to: Departmental Lead, Supervisor or Manager
Job Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Hybrid, Mon-Fri
Job Location: New Providence
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or comparable experience and related work history in healthcare billing or reimbursement environment
Previous experience working with the Brightree platform and/or billing experience is preferred
Strong understanding of medical reimbursement processes and regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite) and other relevant software programs
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance
Strong work ethic with a desire to lead by example
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, management, customers, and insurance representatives
Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:
Maintain the Brightree environment with precision and efficiency. This includes updating price files, quantity limitations, validation rules, and other relevant functions
Analyze billing processes and suggest changes to policies, fee schedules, and payer limitations
Proactively identify and research payer issues. Maintain open communication with payer representatives to collaborate on solutions
Foster a supportive and knowledgeable team environment by providing insightful feedback, training, and education on billing system functionalities, processes, and best practices
Utilize the various tools available to effectively maintain and execute assigned tasks
Demonstrate strong prioritization skills by identifying complex issues and promptly escalating them to leadership
Maintain confidentiality and integrity when working with privileged information related to payer contracts, employee status updates, etc
Perform other duties as assigned

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. Requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies of 20 pounds and no more than 35 pounds.
