Job Summary
To act as itinerant Speech Language Pathologist for the Santa Barbara County Education Office, Special Education Program. Responsibilities include assessment and instruction of students, and consultation for parents and teachers.
Requirements / Qualifications
Part-time and full-time vacancies available in Montecito, Santa Maria and Lompoc and will be discussed during interview. *This posting is for the 2024-25 school year.*
California Speech-Language Pathology or Clinical Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech, & Hearing, or master’s degree in communicative disorders (or equivalent), plus a valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License. Per Education Code 44831, licensure issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board and a master’s degree in communicative disorders (or equivalent) may qualify in lieu of a credential. Experience and/or training appropriate to fulfill requirements of the position.
