Job Description BAE Systems is looking for a dynamic individual to act as the NATO SEASPARROW Program Office, Information Technology Departments, Network Management Section Lead. This candidate will supervise and oversee the day-to-day NATO SEASPARROW Information Technology Departments Network Management Section. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing the NATO SEASPARROW Program Office computer networks. The candidate primary role involves managing the NATO SEASPARROW Program Office Network Management Section to design, implement, and support network infrastructure, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and intranets, meticulously plan, configure network hardware, optimize system performance, and ensure network security. This candidate will also have an enhanced role including budgeting, security, provide user support, and train new users. It’s a dynamic position, where new technologies are constantly introduced, offering opportunities to work with cutting-edge tech and shape the future of networks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Network Management Section in:
- Maintaining network infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers, and firewalls, monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal connectivity.
- Implementing security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Collaborating with IT teams to design and implement network upgrades and enhancements.
- Providing technical support to end-users and resolve network-related problems.
- Documenting network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Maintaining inventory of all hardware, software and software licenses. Maintaining IT equipment inventory
- Oversee the budgeting actions related to the Network Management Section
Required Education, Experience, & Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Network/System Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, security, and troubleshooting.
• A strong understanding of Project Management process and related tools.
• Proven understanding of Property book management
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience as a Network/System Administrator.
• Demonstrated in depth knowledge of network protocols, security, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated experience of Project Management process and related tools.
• Proven understanding of Property book management
• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
