Responsibilities Lead all aspects of financial modeling at the group-wide level, including scenario building, valuation analysis, and risk/opportunity assessment of key business decisions. Modeling activities may include new product or business model launches, M&A, internal projects, and other material capital deployment opportunities. Provide essential business insight with impactful analysis across the organization to ensure alignment with the company’s strategy and priorities. Develop presentation materials on a wide variety of financial and strategic topics for the executive team and board meetings. Spearhead MSA’s FP&A transformation journey alongside the Finance Leadership Team to deliver FP&A services in the most efficient and effective manner. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance data analytics through new technologies, improve forecast/budget accuracy, introduce new reporting to provide improved insight to business leaders, etc. Work in conjunction with other department members and finance leaders to develop new approaches to complex challenges. Manage MSA’s corporate strategy and long range financial planning workstreams. This highly visible workstream includes partnering with senior leadership to set long term strategic vision, defining annual priorities, quantifying the impact of key investments, tracking progress toward financial goals for distinct program investments, and balancing activities within MSA’s risk appetite. Supervise 1 financial analyst and support Executive Director and other FP&A Leaders in building talent and skill sets within the broader team. Serve as the finance business partner to MSA’s Services & Solutions team as the company continues to evolve from a hardware supplier to a solutions provider, improving customer safety outcomes and generating recurring revenue. Qualifications Experience Required: Senior Manager: 12+ years of professional experience required in a Financial Planning & Analysis role at a large, multinational public company. Up to 5 Years of experience may be fulfilled by experience in investment banking, investor relations, public accounting, management consulting, or operations finance. Director: 17+ years of professional experience required in a Financial Planning & Analysis role at a large, multinational public company. Up to 7 Years of experience may be fulfilled by experience in investment banking, investor relations, public accounting, management consulting, or operations finance. Proven ability to manage people, lead teams and major workstreams, influence colleagues, and generate broad consensus across functions and geographies. Advanced presentation skills, and ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable, clear, and engaging messages. Experience presenting to senior executive leadership and cross-functional audiences. Strong track record of leading financial modeling & decision support workstreams on M&A and strategic programs—creating dynamic NPV models and providing recommendations to appropriate stakeholders. Advanced modeling and valuation knowledge required. Experience serving as the finance lead on acquisition modeling, due diligence and integration required. Expert PowerPoint skills – experience preparing Board-level deliverables and polished communications Excellent business acumen and executive presence to work seamlessly with senior leadership as well as present to CEO, CFO, and other senior leaders Effectively multitask to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment Proactive individual looking to continuously take on additional responsibility and improve processes and procedures.
