Job Details The Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy Technicians work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist. Files documentation in appropriate locations Completes and documents monthly inspections of all assigned medication storage areas in a timely and comprehensive manner. Inspection assignments are completed without supervisor intervention Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent, College courses desirable Pharmacy Technician Certificate required New York State License required Basic computer skills 2 – 3 years pharmacy experience preferred, but not required Salary Range USD $29.92 - USD $37.41 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
