Abacus Technology is seeking a General Clerk to provide administrative support for a telecommunications program at Picatinny Arsenal. This is a full-time position.

• Print work orders for telecommunications support including inside plant switching, outside plant cable, and telephones.
• Review and document all prior day work orders that have been closed out by technicians.
• Edit circuits in database.
• Create trouble tickets.
• Answer phone calls from technicians and provide necessary information.
• Log all manhole, pedestal, and utility pole inspections completed by outside plant infrastructure inspectors.
• Provide data entry for data communications hut inspection and routine maintenance reports.
• File and maintain work orders.

1 year experience in an administrative support role. Must have experience with Microsoft Office suite or Microsoft 365. Knowledge of or able to learn a data management system such as Netplus. Able to exercise judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. Comfortable selecting the appropriate method to accomplish a task or resolve an issue. Able to work independently or as part of a team and communicate efficiently with all levels of an organization. Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
