About The Role
The Technology Director is a key internal advocate of our Shared Values of STEWARDSHIP and ELEVATE. Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer, this role provides technical leadership driving the Credit Union's technology initiatives, architecture, and operations. In this role, you will guide and direct the technology team, and oversee the development and implementation of scalable and secure technology solutions. As a collaborative leader, the Technology Director will foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
This position is on-premise and based at our headquarters office in Ventura, CA, but does offer the ability for a limited hybrid schedule. Directors at VCCU uphold our Shared Values and work onsite for the best benefit of our membership and community partners. You will manage and lead both on-premise and remote staff.
What You’ll Do
Leadership and Mentorship: Provide direct leadership and mentorship to the technology team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and working to develop a high-performing team with the skills necessary to support the Credit Union's technology goals.
Security and Compliance: Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Credit Union's technology assets. Implement and maintain robust security controls, policies, and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and the adoption of new technologies that enhance member experience.
Agile Leadership: Lead Scrum teams in the planning and execution of high-quality software solutions. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure the team's adherence to Agile principles and practices.
AWS Cloud Services: Leverage knowledge of AWS cloud services to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure and applications. Drive the migration of on-premises systems to the cloud and ensure adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
Active Directory Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of Active Directory, ensuring its integrity, security, and optimal performance.
Manage Engine Expertise: Utilize Manage Engine products to enhance IT operations, manage assets, monitor performance, and ensure seamless service delivery. Oversee the implementation and optimization of Manage Engine solutions to meet organizational needs.
API Design and Implementation: Design and implement APIs that enable seamless integration between systems, enhance agility, and support the development of new member-facing applications and services.
What We’re Seeking
5-7 years directly related experience overseeing one or more aspects of technology infrastructure services. Including experience leading teams responsible for Windows environments.
Proficiency of software languages that pertain to network and server operating systems.
Strong understanding of ITIL based processes (incident, change, problem, root cause analysis).
Extensive experience with managing service solutions including Amazon Web Services and/or Azure.
Hands-on experience managing and maintaining Active Directory environments.
Proven experience with Manage Engine products and modules.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
