Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Human Resources or a related field. Professional work experience in a recruiting/talent acquisition position within a Human Resources department. Experience sourcing and building and managing talent pipelines using LinkedIn. Experience using Taleo or Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC). Experience working for a public employer, higher education, and/or in a unionized environment.
Brief Description of Duties: This position will support the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment activities with a focus on sourcing a diverse talent pool. This is a highly confidential position, as the selected candidate will have access to confidential human resources information.
Job Posting:
Support the recruiters by preparing the job position to be posted on various sites, LinkedIn and with networks.
Candidate Sourcing:
Work closely with recruiters to understand talent requirements and develop targeted sourcing strategies. Provide regular updates on sourcing progress and share insights to improve recruitment processes. Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques to identify and attract high-quality diverse candidates, including but not limited to, online sourcing, social media recruiting, networking, referrals, and direct sourcing. Coordinate and participate in job fairs.
Pipeline Management:
Proactively reach out to potential candidates, build relationships, and effectively communicate the company's value proposition and opportunities. Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs. Ensure timely and effective communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Screening and Evaluation:
Review resumes and assess candidate qualifications against job requirements. Conduct preliminary interviews to evaluate candidate fit and interest in the position.
Data Management:
Keep accurate records of candidate interactions and status using LinkedIn and the applicant tracking system (ATS). Generate reports and analytics to track sourcing metrics and effectiveness.
Collaboration: Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive intelligence, and talent market dynamics to inform sourcing strategies and identify new sourcing channels.
Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission.
Special Notes: This is a Management Confidential position. This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Non Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
