• Valid California Single Subject Music Credential OR
• Valid California Multiple Subject K-12 Teaching Credential with supplemental authorization in Music
• EL Authorization
• For applicants with a valid California Multiple Subject K-12 Teaching Credential who do not have a supplemental authorization in Music, employment may be offered under a Local Assignment Option. If selected, there is requirement to submit documentation verifying progress towards attainment of a California preliminary teaching credential or supplemental subject matter authorization in the subject area of the assignment during the 2024-25 school year. The district may not be offering a Local Assignment Option in the 2025-26 school year.

The Encinitas Union School District (EUSD) is excited to launch our newly redesigned Enrichment Program beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. EUSD is seeking Music Teachers to be part of the Enrichment Program in a wheel rotation setting. The Music Teachers will create and implement interdisciplinary learning experiences for students in K-6th Grade serving two school sites, one per semester. Curriculum and collaboration opportunities with other Music Teachers provided.
The Encinitas Union School District (EUSD) is located in the North San Diego County along the coast. It serves nine (9) Kindergarten through sixth grade schools.

The weekly work schedule for this position is 7:30am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Salary placement dependent upon experience; up to 10 years of teaching experience is taken into consideration for salary placement.

You will have the opportunity to clear your teaching credential at no cost through the district offered Teacher Induction Program.
Successful candidates will be required to pass fingerprint background check, physical and drug screen and provide negative Tuberculin Skin Test result prior to working in Encinitas Union School District. Fingerprinting and TB test at applicant's expense. Physical/drug screen paid by EUSD. An original Social Security Card and Drivers License required at the time of hire.
