As a Principal Associate, Supply Chain, you will be responsible for the holistic relationship between Capital One and key third parties, enabling a well-managed and adaptable supply chain. You will work closely with internal team members establishing and maintaining relationships with internal business customers, account teams and suppliers. This role will be expected to manage procurement needs for Consulting & Professional Services on our Non-Associate Labor (NAL) team. This role is responsible for ensuring that Enterprise Supplier Management is delivering value to our internal customers while respecting the policies and procedures that govern the transaction/relationship. You will be expected to develop Non-Associate Labor sourcing strategies, supplier communications, request for proposals (and related due diligence), cost analytics, supply market analysis, deal strategy, pricing strategy, deal negotiations (contract terms and conditions, scopes of work, pricing, service levels, etc.), contract development, and contract administration. You will act as a central point of contact for a transaction and is responsible for engaging all the internal parties relevant to a given supplier transaction. Key responsibilities include:
Problem Solving & Strategy Advice: Provide problem-solving and innovative ideas to support internal customers. Identify value-generating opportunities (e.g. savings, efficiencies, or revenue growth) by providing numerical analysis and optimization strategies.
Negotiation: Partner to negotiate contracts for a broad range of services for Capital One
Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for third parties and manage an effective governance between Capital One and assigned third parties; building strong internal and external relationships
Project Management: manage multiple projects concurrently in an autonomous environment; ability to generate and pursue ideas; complex project management skills; written and verbal communications with internal and external stakeholders
Collaboration: Partner with internal risk groups to ensure third party relationships are compliant with all relevant policies and procedures.
Supplier Sourcing: Maintain awareness of external marketplace as it relates to your suppliers and perform sourcing activities where appropriate.

Basic Qualifications: ?
At least 4 years of experience in Supplier Management, Relationship Management or Procurement
At least 3 years of analytical or negotiation experience
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 5 Years of experience in Supply Chain Consulting or Supplier Management
At least 4 Years of experience in contract review, or negotiation management
At least 2 years of experience in Operations Management
