Job Abstract

Are you ready for a next level challenge? Our client is one of the leading utility companies in the Washington, DC Metro area. They have an immediate need for a Program Manager to manage a wide variety of projects, including business process, technology, and pipeline construction. You will manage project prioritization and gating processes and will have several Project Managers reporting to you. The ideal candidate has Utilities experience, specifically in Construction and Engineering, Digital Technology and Business Processes.

The PM will need to be onsite in Washington DC and/or Northern Virginia on a regular basis, with the remainder of the time working remotely. Our client is unable to offer sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Masters preferred)
• 15 years of experience as a Project Manager, with at least 5 in a Program Manager role
• Familiarity with Construction and Engineering Project Management Terms
• PMP and a Project Management Expert with deep understanding of Project Management Methodologies
• An excellent Project Management Coach
• Ability to provide expert oversight on project execution, keep PMs on track and have a structured approach to Project Management
• The perfect Program Manager has experience in Utilities—specifically in Construction and Engineering, Digital/Technology and Business Process? since each of these groups have different project management terminologies.
