The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of their fire protection services in Pennsylvania, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of fire protection systems and services.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise all operational activities in Pennsylvania, ensuring seamless execution of fire protection services. Coordinate with the headquarters in New Jersey to align operational strategies and policies.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency.
Lead, mentor, and train a team of technicians, project managers, and administrative staff.
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of fire protection projects.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Monitor project progress, address any issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Develop and manage the operational budget for the Pennsylvania region.
Monitor expenses and optimize resource allocation to achieve financial targets.
Prepare regular financial reports for senior management.
Oversee the procurement and management of equipment, tools, and supplies.
Ensure timely maintenance and calibration of all fire protection systems and devices.
Optimize inventory levels to support operational needs without excess.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, codes, regulations and industry standards.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to travel between Pennsylvania and New Jersey as needed.
