Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Administrative Analyst III for New Jersey Medical School – Dean’s office. The primary purpose of the Administrative Analyst III position is to provide all aspects of administrative support to the 3rd and 4th year required clerkships including the integrated OSCE program for Phase 3. This position also provides administrative support to the Associate Dean for Education, in addition, he/she will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Office of Education as required. This individual will also be cross trained to provide back-up support to other staff as needed.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: - Serves as a critical interface between the clerkship directors, clinical faculty, and medical students supporting all components of their education, including distribution of syllabi, scheduling, beepers, scrubs and other clerkship responsibilities as needed.
- Responsible for monitoring the various clerkships to ensure they are meeting accreditation standards specifically those related to direct observations, student evaluations, and grade submissions.
- Provides administrative support to the Associate Dean for Education for scheduling, calendar, organizing Dean’s letters and minutes for relevant meetings.
- Responsible for coordinating logistics, including scheduling, room assignments, student notifications for integrative OSCE program for entire MS3 class (including remediation OSCEs). Organize/coordinate student individualized learning plans for remediation needs for integrative OSCEs.
- Coordination of remote learning electives administered by Office of Education, which includes scheduling, tracking attendance, hosting, and recording of didactics and small group sessions within WebEx or other on-line platform.
- Provides assistance with proctoring highly confidential student examinations, including NBME shelf exams and departmental exams, both paper and web-based examinations for all designated clerkships.
