Job Summary
Three (3) years coaching experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified below.
* Teach the fundamental skills and drills of the game of basketball.
* Instruct players in the rules, regulations, equipment, of the sport.
* Models sports-like behavior and maintains appropriate conduct towards players, officials,
spectators, and families.
* Willingness to work in a group coaching environment.
* Provide academic advising to each player.
* Track the academic progress of each student/athlete.
* Work collaboratively with Athletic Director, Administration, Teachers, and Parents.
* Ability and willingness to fund-raise for the program.
* Perform all other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Requirements / Qualifications
CPR/First Aid through American Red Cross or American Heart Association
NFHS Certificates: Fundamentals, Concussion, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Heat Illness Prevention, and Covid 19 for Coaches and Administrators
Valid California Driver's License
Need not hold a credential
