Job Description
The Area Manager is a key representative of Elevate Entertainment Groups diverse range of operations including dine-in and traditional theaters, bowling, virtual reality, food and beverage, and gaming. This role involves overseeing Sales and Operations across multiple locations within the designated area. The Area Manager is responsible for driving sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing profit and loss, controlling expenses, and executing all company policies and procedures in partnership with all other departments.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Establishes appropriate direction and communication to General Managers and holds location Managers accountable for execution at the venue level.
- Supervises a team of General Managers for the region.
- Spends 80% of the time in venues to monitor performance, provide feedback, and recognize exceptional performance.
- Holds regular meetings and conference calls to communicate Company directives and reinforce policies and procedures.
- Completes venue inspections as needed and provides feedback to General Managers.
- Ensures attainment of budgeted sales results and controls expenses to budget.
- Provides leadership to General Managers to drive sales and maximize margin.
- Monitors locations controllable expenses to budget and takes corrective action as necessary.
- Protects Company assets including attaining budgeted shrink results and monitoring store compliance with policies and procedures.
- Manages People issues to ensure retention, training and development, and hiring standards for all cast members.
- Ensures General Managers supports corporate training programs and that cast members complete all Company directed training.
- Provides guidance and training to Management teams to develop future location managers.
- Monitors cast members engagement in venues to ensure a pleasant and productive work environment.
- Approves promotions, terminations, and disciplinary action as needed.
- Working effectively with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests, vendors, and corporate partners.
- Must be able to travel at least 50% of the time.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

Education + Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in hospitality, management or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of dining theater, entertainment center or restaurant operations management experience in high-volume operation.
- Minimum 3+ years of F&B management experience in a high-volume management role ideally with full-service bar and kitchen.
- Proven track record of operational excellence.
- Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe Certification required.
- Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing, stooping, walking, climbing stairs.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast paced work environment with loud noises and flashing lights.
