Description
This position (HVCC - Home Valuation Code of Conduct) is responsible for assigning and processing appraisals, requesting status, and handling vendor (appraiser) management-related matters for Union Home Mortgage.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Obtain Case Numbers for government loans
Assign appraisal orders within the Mercury Network software system, AMC (Appraisal Management Company) or through the VA Portal
Complete appraisal transfers
Request status from appraisers to confirm inspection date/delivery of the appraisal
Problem-solve appraisal-related matters as they relate to the next department in line
Perform all required quality control and data entry within Encompass, FHA Connection and/or the VA Portal
Clearly understand and communicate answers to Partners and appraisers through helpdesks
Work with the team to ensure that the department is maintaining its 24-hour SLA
Vendor (appraiser) management (vetting of new appraisers and ensuring that appraisers are maintaining proper service levels and professionalism)
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of administrative, mortgage, or customer service experience preferred
SKILLS REQUIRED
Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal, written communication and phone skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet time-sensitive deadlines
