A global manufacturer servicing the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries is seeking Direct HireAssembly Technicians to join their team in Kent, Ohio.
$24 – $27 Per Hour + $2 shift differential for Weekend Shift
1st Shift Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3 :00 pm Weekend Shift Friday – Sunday 6:00 am – 6:00 pm (Work 38 hours and get paid for 40)
Key Responsibilities:
Interprets assembly drawings, blueprints, and electrical prints
Has general knowledge and understanding of pneumatic circuits, cylinders, valves, regulators and controls
Possesses knowledge of threaded and welded pipe, valves and fittings, and related hardware for installation.
Positions parts and subassemblies by lifting, bending, and kneeling multiple times per day, working overhead from a kneeling or laying position and will require the physical ability to lift up to 50 at times.
Runs conduit, mounts junction boxes and pulls wire to various electrical devices and motors. Terminates wires as required per electrical drawing.
Knowledge operating and lifting objects with forklift, overhead cranes utilizing slings, straps or other devices.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
