Job Abstract

Job SummaryThe Service Writer acts as the main point of contact for customers regarding equipment repair and maintains organization within the service department. They handle work orders, customer updates, and assist with various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. Even Simpler: This job is like being the person who helps people get their machines fixed. You talk to the customers and make sure everything in the shop is running well.

Skill Requirements:

Organizational skillsto maintain service department operations.

Familiarity withOne Right Way Processesor similar quality control procedures.

Ability to create and manageWork ordersefficiently.

Experience withPurchase orders, including contacting vendors for equipment procurement.

Proficiency in a service management system such asJD Equip system.

Preferred:

Knowledge of preparingService Technician efficiency reports.

Experience processingWarranty claimsand handlingProduct improvement claims.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
