HVAC Technician

We provide a cellular phone, uniforms, and a $250 dollar annual shoe allowance.
Pension is $4.00 per hour and H&W Benefits are $13.88 per hour.
HVAC Technician will perform HVAC and Mechanical preventive maintenance and repairs. This will also include general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical lighting and other tasks as needed. This will include hands-on work to complete the necessary work within Jones Lang LaSalle standards and guidelines.
The HVAC Technician (HVAC Mechanic):
- Installs, services, maintains and repairs environmental-control systems in residences, department stores, office buildings and other commercial establishments
- Utilizes knowledge of refrigeration theory, pipefitting and structural layout
- Mounts compressor and condenser units on platform or floor, using hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications
- Fabricates, assembles and installs ductwork and chassis parts, using portable metalworking tools and welding equipment.
- Installs evaporator unit in chassis or in air-duct system, using hand tools.
What is your day to day?

- Perform preventive maintenance and repair service work on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and various other building systems to maintain the properties in peak operational condition.
- Utilize CMMS systems for all work performed and management of work orders.
- General interior maintenance – hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems, repair doors, moves office furniture / machinery / equipment, and other task as assigned.
- Complies with all policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous material.
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of all work areas.
- Ability to recognize, assess and mitigate or eliminate risk. Including completing Hazard Assessments as necessary.
- Maintain compliance to state and county codes and / or laws.
- Must be able to read and understand schematics.
- Attend work and safety meetings as required.
- Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
All HVAC personnel designated to work on, operate, maintain, and (or) repair HVAC equipment or systems shall maintain a minimum of sixteen (16) hours of continuing education annually from a NATE, HVAC Excellence, or UA Star recognized provider program.
All HVAC personnel designated to work on, operate, maintain, and (or) repair HVAC equipment or systems shall possess one (1) or more of the following certifications:
a. North American Technician Excellence (N.A.T.E.) HVACR Service Technician Certification
b. HVAC Excellence Professional Level Certification
c. UA Star HVACR Mastery Certification
