Job Summary

Position Description: Coaches are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program. Successful candidates will be required to adhere to all local, state, and federal laws, directives of the Governing Board set forth in Board policies and administrative regulations, and all lawful directives of superiors including the rules and regulations of the California Interscholastic Federation and the standards of ethical conduct for interscholastic athletic team programs. Coaches are to be exemplary role models for the athletes, school, community, and District. The successful candidate shall recognize that the purpose of athletics is to promote the physical, mental, moral, and emotional well-being of the individual athlete.

Requirements / Qualifications

Letter of interest including coaching experience, highlighting goals and objectives for the program/student participants, and strategies for effectively communicating with athletes, parents, boosters, media, and the community.
