Job Abstract

ProFound Staffing is working on a search for a Platform Engineer for a Distribution Company in the West area of Houston, Texas. The Platform Engineer position will be a hands-on role that supports and provides solutions that contribute to the success of daily business operations within a cloud and on-prem environment.

The Platform Engineer will be responsible for deploying, troubleshooting and maintaining platform resources (infrastructure, networking, infrastructure as code).

The Platform Engineer will be required to perform application, server, database maintenance, and data analysis as well as creating health and monitoring reports. The person in this position will be required to lead and participate in projects, prioritize, and plan their work and work of others.

The Platform Engineer will also be an active partner in working with the business to provide value through technology. The person in this position will need to demonstrate an ability to manage ambiguity, applied knowledge of the business to advance the organizational goals, and comfortably navigates complex policy, people, and process-related organizational dynamics.

Work Schedule:

This is a hybrid work schedule: 4 days on-site and 1 day remote
