Novato Unified School District (NUSD) has 700+ staff members who, along with the larger school community, are responsible for the education of over 7,500 students. We have eight elementary schools, including one dual-immersion, one K-8 school, two middle schools, and two comprehensive high schools. NUSD also has an Alternative Education Center housing a continuation school and an independent study student program serving grades K-12. All schools within Novato Unified offer special education services, along with Gifted and Talented Education (GATE), and special assistance is provided for all English learner students. Novato Unified School District is seeking a Mental Health Clinician. This 30 hour a week position offers: Kaiser, Delta Dental/Vision Services Plan, California Public Retirement System (CalPERS), and paid sick leave. Mental Health Clinician will provide Educationally Related Mental Health Services as part of the Counseling Enriched Class at Marin Oaks/Hill Education Center. Novato is a suburb located in north Marin County, with a population of approximately 53,000. We are a close-knit community, with a number of our population being lifelong citizens. Many of our NUSD parents attended Novato schools themselves. Our community is known for its more than 3,600 acres of open space, which include a number of popular hiking and biking trails.
