University of North Florida
The University of North Florida is a public university in Jacksonville, Florida. It is part of the State University System of Florida and is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. Situated in Jacksonville between downtown and the beaches, UNF was established in 1969. The 1,000 acre University of North Florida opened for classes in 1972 with 2,027 students.
