Founded in 1945 as Elliott Auto Supply Co., Inc., Factory Motor Parts (FMP) Co. has grown from a small, single location in Minneapolis to over 150 locations in 19 states. Our company name, Factory Motor Parts, was acquired from our participation in the former Chrysler Mopar Distribution network of the 1960s and symbolizes our valuable partnerships with Ford, General Motors and many other respected aftermarket companies. In recent years, our reputation for unmatched availability combined with exceptional service and knowledgeable staff, have been keys to FMP’s success and has propelled our growth with independent service centers. Today as an aftermarket distribution partner with original equipment suppliers, we serve markets in the Midwest, Mountain States, Southwest, Northeast, North Carolina and West Coast including Alaska.
