Cleveland-Cliffs, Inc.
Cleveland-Cliffs Inc., formerly Cliffs Natural Resources, is a Cleveland, Ohio-based company that specializes in the mining, beneficiation, and pelletizing of iron ore, as well as steelmaking, including stamping and tooling. It is the largest flat-rolled steel producer in North America. In 2020, Cleveland-Cliffs conducted a transformation that will keep the company thriving for the next century with the acquisition of two prominent steel companies in the United States. Today, we are now the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America. We are vertically integrated from mining through iron making, steelmaking, rolling, finishing and downstream with hot and cold stamping of steel parts and components. We have the unique advantage of being self-sufficient with production of the raw materials for our steelmaking operations. As we expand our presence, we continue to operate environmentally responsible and safely. With ongoing initiatives to reduce waste, improve water conservation, and reduce carbon emissions by 25% by 2030, we promise to become North America's leader in steelmaking and mining sustainability.
