The Nurse Manager is responsible and accountable for planning, organizing, coordinating and evaluating the management and clinical practice activities for the nursing units under her charge. Assumes 24 hour responsibility by setting measureable goals and objectives so that optimum patient care is delivered and staff are developed to exert that care in a sensitive and caring manner.
Required Experience:
3-5 years clinical experience with demonstrated leadership and management ability.
One year supervisory experience preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
NYS Licensed Professional Nurse required.
Specialty Certification required.
BLS, ACLS,PALS,NIHSS, TCAR and additional certifications.
Education Requirement:
BSN degree required, Graduate degree preferred.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000 (Commensurate with Experience)
