Direct Hire
$150K- $170K
Remote with 25% Travel to Northern CA
Dutiies:
Establish and maintain the Project Management Office (PMO) framework and procedures to ensure consistent project delivery across the organization Develop and implement project management standards, methodologies, and best practices to optimize project delivery efficiency and effectiveness Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and client requirements Oversee project portfolio management, including prioritization, resource allocation, and risk management, to improve project outcomes and maximize return on investment Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, tools, and capabilities, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence Provide regular reporting and communication on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators to stakeholders at all levels Partner with finance and project teams to develop and manage program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal quality assurance protocols. Facilitate workshops to enhance processes, programs, and overall organizational goals through the utilization of business frameworks
Education
Master's degree preferred
Experience
10+ years experience in program management, portfolio management, and project management methods and techniques
5+ years with project delivery methodologies and tools
Business knowledge and experience working on strategic and operational projects
Experience driving change management initiatives across an organization
Ability to quickly make sound decisions in ambiguous situations, leveraging knowledge of the business and stakeholder support Proven ability to track, prioritize, manage and execute multiple concurrent projects
Experience building a high caliber PMO team to drive proactive improvements across project management
Able to partner across matrixed and cross-functional teams
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their full potential
Licenses
PMP Certification or equivalent in preferred
One or more of the following Project/Program Management certifications (e.g., ACP, AgilePM, PgMP, PPM, PRINCE2, etc.)
Software knowledge
Proficient in program management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP) and project management software.
Expert user MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
