We have an immediate 2nd shift opportunity for a Mechanic / Maintenance Tech at our coil processing facility just outside of Cleveland, Ohio. As a member of maintenance team, you will apply your problem-solving and technical skills to troubleshoot a variety of basic mechanical equipment problems and perform preventative and mechanical maintenance.

We have openings on 2nd shift. Our ideal team member will have a solid understanding of basic machine repair, along with the curiosity, work ethic and attention to quality to grow with our company. They may also have an electrical and PLC manufacturing background. Ability to read and understand ladder logic and program HMIs, a plus. All skill levels will be considered.
Responsibilities
Complete mechanical repairs and adjusts as needed.
Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery assigned and successfully troubleshoot mechanical problems.
Complete welding and fabrication tasks with little direction.
Accountable for entering data into maintenance system timely and accurately.
Perform basic electrical tasks in order to work in maintenance field safely.
Other duties as assigned.
Desired Experience
Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing
Basic mechanical, cutting and simple welding skills, required.
Capability to read and utilize mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints.
Basic computer and internet skills, ability to learn and understand new technology.
Use of meter and ability to complete basic measurements and math.
Working electrical knowledge
2-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred; 1 year required.
Lockout/tagout, fall protection, PPE, confined-spaced training, a plus.
Complete knowledge of standard operating procedures
Experience with Allen Bradley and Allen Bradley PLC
Must be able to perform physically demanding work, including extensive walking, bending, standing, heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and squatting in extreme temperatures.
