Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking an R&D Manager in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
Direct Hire Shift: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm Compensation: based on experience

Responsibilities:
Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the R&D department.
Offer technical expertise and guidance to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Drive project completion within established timelines and budgets.
Collaborate with the management team to shape product development strategies.
Develop plans and budgets for future products, tools, and personnel in alignment with company strategic plans.
Manage departmental budgets, tracking costs and hours by activity.
Oversee the Design Control process, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and continuous improvement.
Ensure all designs are properly documented, verified, and validated through rigorous testing and analysis.
Provide training and resources to support project execution within budget and schedule.
Manage Intellectual Property in accordance with regulatory and R&D directives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (chemistry, biology, physics, engineering); Master’s or PhD preferred.
8-10 years of experience in R&D functions.
3-5 years of experience in a leadership role.
Proven ability to coach, develop, and lead an engaged R&D team.
Demonstrated success in executing assigned initiatives effectively.
Experience in product development from concept through launch.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including new product development and support activities.
Working knowledge of design and development processes, including design controls and transfer activities.
Experience collaborating with manufacturing teams.
Track record of working with cross-functional teams and peers, both locally and internationally.
Strong presentation skills, capable of communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Awareness of trends within the medical device industry.
Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
