The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a part-time Behavioral Health Professional to join our Family Focused Program. You will assist with outpatient therapy groups or the UCLA Parenting Program for Children and Adolescents as well as the Children’s Friendship Program. These programs provide evidence-based skills through individual psychotherapy and treatment to school age children. Primary duties include:
Assessing youth eligibility for participation in outpatient therapy groups for pediatric related disorders
Conducting group based interventions to patients
Working with interdisciplinary team to devise and implement group/individual therapy sessions and treatment plans
Administering interviews and rating scales
Providing treatment plan to pediatric patients
Complete required paperwork for assessments and treatment sessions
Please note: This is a limited position that may convert to career.
Job Qualifications

MA’s in Psychology or related field
Knowledge of expertise in Psychology protocols
Knowledge of relevant psychological, medical, and psychiatric terminology
Knowledge and expertise in treatment manuals/protocols pertaining to childhood disorders
Knowledge of administering rating scales and other study related tools
Skill in interacting with person of various social and educational backgrounds and age levels
Ability to learn and consistently follow program protocols and procedures and monitory quality assurance with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Skill in working with large research team
Skill in working with word processing, excel spreadsheets, and data management programs
