Position Summary
This Intern position will support corporate needs across multiple departments, including Sales, Project Management Office (PMO), and IT. The intern will assist the Sales and PMO with data entry, project tracking, pricing exercises, and deliverables. Additionally, the intern will provide support to the IT department with basic tasks, equipment setup, and troubleshooting tasks. This role offers valuable opportunities for professional growth and hands-on experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the PMO with data entry, tracking project progress, and ensuring timely delivery of project components.
- Work with sales team to populate quotes, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Take direction from the IT staff to assist with setting up and organizing IT equipment and other office IT tasks.
- Participate in training to learn the IT ticketing system and provide basic troubleshooting support.
- Complete technical training and participate in the opportunity to obtain IT Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) product sales and technical certifications.
- Conduct research on technology trends, as well as upcoming agency initiatives to stay informed about industry trends and developments.
- Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
- Regularly monitor RavenTek email and respond accordingly.
- Complete required compliance training as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Critical Skills
- General familiarity and understanding of Microsoft office products.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Great work ethic with ability to work independently.
Education & Work Experience
- Must be enrolled in a college or university.
- Must have and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Work Environment
Employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Potential moderate temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.
Physical Demands
To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, the employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; see to read printed materials and computer screens; mobility to work in a typical office setting. Ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and may be required to provide recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee must be able to lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically up to 50 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
