Position Overview:
Responsible for opening and closing all repair orders, work to assemble and complete paperwork for repairs to vehicles and equipment from an in office environment. Work involves ability to communicate effectively with customers, parts department personnel, sales department and to use initiative to process repair information and billings to factories.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Handles all incoming calls.
Handle paperwork (i.e. billings, order sheets, invoices).
Schedules all incoming work and informs appropriate parties.
Complete paperwork for repair orders, record all information, provide estimate of completion date.
Review repair orders to ensure correct billing, shipping instructions and applicable purchase order number.
Obtain credit department approvals of open account billing and obtain other payment arrangements for customer.
List all repair orders in the appropriate Master Logs.
Follow-up with customers on work in process on a daily basis.
Close orders as appropriate.
Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
Product knowledge preferred
Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and with all company personnel.
Must be able to discuss the scope of the repairs intelligently with customers.
Good interpersonal and communication skills required.
Computer: MS Office (Word, Excel) and AS 400 experience preferred
Must be organized and able to follow up on repair orders for customer.
Must be able to train others.
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to communicate with customers and must be able to exchange accurate information.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.
Requires standing for extended period of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking and stooping, pushing and/or pulling.
Must be able to detect parts and machinery from a distance and up close.
