Job Description:
The Accounting team at Frasco, Inc is searching for a Payroll Coordinator. This individual will be working directly with the Payroll Supervisor, CFO and HR Director. The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for weekly and bi-weekly payroll file preparation, internal control maintenance and external agency reporting.
This is a full-time position based in Irvine, CA with work from home flexibility.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Working with the Human Resources department to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
Ensuring compliance with all applicable State and Federal wage and hour laws
Ensuring accurate payment of wages, bonus, and commissions
Creating ad-hoc reports for revenue generating centers
Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
Reconciliation of outstanding payroll items at month-end
Updating Employee HR files
Monitoring the Payroll Mailbox and assisting with responding to email requests
Managing payroll related mail
Assisting with any open projects in payroll
Performing other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
Requirements:
Associates degree in a related field
Minimum of 3 years payroll processing experience
Experience in payroll batch processing
Initiative to implement Operational Best practices
Maintain payroll information and highest levels of confidentiality
Experience in reporting Payroll information to external agencies
Experience working in a business setting with multiple revenue generating centers
Ability to create ad-hoc reporting in Excel and within payroll operating software to reduce processing time
Must have proficiency in v-lookups, pivot tables, and formatting in Excel
Experience using ADP, Ceridian, Paychex, Paylocity, or Sage
