Position Summary and Duties
The Office of the Registrar at Loyola University Maryland seeks an Associate Registrar for Academic Scheduling and Operations. The Associate Registrar supports the Registrar in managing Office programs, website, service operations, supervising personnel, and delivery of quality customer service. The Associate Registrar is the back-up to the Registrar in overseeing security of student records; manages and directs registration and classroom scheduling, ensuring adherence to university academic policies and state and federal guidelines.
Other responsibilities include:
directing the Student Information Systems data operations as it pertains to student information.
directing the master schedule and classroom scheduling process.
supporting the Associate Registrar of Technology in the research and development or web-based student and faculty initiatives.
partnering with other Office and Technology Services leaders to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that impact the operations of the department.
hiring and supervising direct reports, and assist the Registrar with overall planning, budgeting, compliance, and personnel management of the office.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of experience or an equivalent number of years of education and experience. At least a year of supervisory experience or equivalent experience of demonstrated leadership and/or project management. Experience with administrative computing software Demonstrated success in planning, organizing, and leading multiple projects through to completion
