Are you an HR Systems Professional looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a cloud based Human Capital Management (HCM) System? The Office of Human Resources is looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Human Resources professional with human resources systems administration experience to serve as a Senior Business Systems (HRIS) Analyst for the HCM systems. This position reports to the HR Shared Services Division Manager and collaborates regularly with Payroll/Finance, IT, and System Analyst/Liaison level staff in all County departments to facilitate and ensure the continuous operation of the HR systems, as well as providing support for all end users.
ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Assisting in the administration of the various HR systems (i.e. manage system user accounts, system setup, configuration, training, and maintenance)
• Acting as primary liaison to HR system users, providing technical support, trouble shooting, training and guidance
• Core HR, Time & Labor, Leave, Learning Management, Benefit, HR Help Desk, Compensation, Recruitment, and Performance Management module management and support
• Managing HR system transactions, workflow, and data
• Data entry, and conducting regular audits and analysis of HR system data
• Support onboarding and offboarding function, including I-9 Administration and E-verify
• Providing regular and ad hoc reporting
• Managing file integrations
• Preparing and updating documentation
• Providing support to HR projects and initiatives
• Identifying, recommending, reviewing, and testing system and process improvements, enhancements, and solutions
• Reviewing and advising on policy and procedures with regard to system functionality and configurability
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 6 years of related (human resources software systems support, to include data entry, troubleshooting, data analysis, and end user training and support) experience.
PREFERENCES
The ideal candidate will have experience implementing and/or managing and administering an HCM/HR system, specifically cloud based applications; the ability to effectively communicate to large audiences in-person and via written presentations, communications and materials; comprehensive knowledge and understanding of HR system administration; and comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and laws. Public sector experience, preferred, but not required.
The successful candidate will have the ability to efficiently work independently and as a team contributor. They must be broad picture focused, yet very detail oriented, with an overall understanding of how systems and processes work together.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
We offer a flexible schedule within standard business hours, with an average work week of 37.5 hours. This position is required to work onsite at our administration building in Woodbridge for on average 50% of scheduled time, with occasional additional required on site meetings. Most of the work is Monday through Friday, during normal business hours. However, occasionally work during non-standard hours may be required. Work schedule and hours are subject to change based on business need.

STARTING SALARY RANGE:
$86,799.45 to $102,117.00
