Position Description Summary:
The George Washington Cancer Center and the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Medicine at the School of Medicine & Health Sciences are seeking candidates for a tenure-track faculty position to be filled at the assistant, associate, or full professor level at a salary commensurate with experience.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Areas of research include but are not limited to cancer biology, particularly in environmental carcinogenesis, tumor microenvironment, or head & neck cancer. Additional responsibilities include engaging in departmental- and university-related educational programs and services.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree, a record of high-quality peer-reviewed publications, and a demonstrated potential for extramural funding.
Advertised Salary:
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
