Your Role
The Medical Care Solutions Markets Performance and Implementation team is responsible for conducting intake, planning, and facilitating implementation activities related to our business unit across all lines of business (commercial, Medicare, Medi-Cal). Implementation activities can include mandates work, new product support, line of business initiatives, process improvement, clinical quality, client on-boarding, etc. The team serves as a liaison for our business unit with key stakeholders within the various line of business portfolios. We track and monitor performance and help demonstrate the value proposition for our clinical services. The Sr. Manager of Program and Project Management will report to the Director of Markets Performance and Implementation. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing a team of program managers who are the liaisons for each of our line of business portfolios. This role will work closely with the Director of Markets Performance and Implementation to track progress, call out risks, and drive delivery for our implementation activities. Your Work
In this role, you will:
Partner with managers to manage intake, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimation and demand/ capacity to ensure projects within the program meet cost, resource, environment, schedule, and other constraints within their domain
Partner with business drivers to execute on sub portfolio delivery including schedule, scope, resource management, financials, benefit tracking, knowledge of emerging technologies and issue/risk management to ensure successful completion of all projects and programs in support of the business strategies
Provide oversight and direction of all the projects and releases within the sub portfolio (schedule, issues/risks, budget, resources, and PPM/PWA adherence)
Oversee and manage program and project managers, with matrixed oversight when appropriate on cross-functional teams
Be accountable for ensuring overall program and project delivery, schedule and budget attainment, and effective management of leadership expectations in achieving overall desired outcomes, results, and deliverables
Understand the different needs of each of our lines of business including Medicare, Medi-Cal, Commercial and be able to work with the team to address as they pertain to our business unit
Work closely with the planning community to ensure all initiatives and work is prioritized and aligned to our larger strategic value streams.
