In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to elevate health literacy and behaviors by harnessing community resources. In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor youth in after-school programs at public parks in South and East LA about their health and environment, or developing engaging gardening curricula for families and seniors in public parks and schools. As our Project Manager, you will also contribute to workforce development by providing valuable opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to refine their community-based skills in underserved areas. Your responsibilities as a Project Manager will encompass a diverse range of coordination, management, and research-related tasks. You will support volunteer and internship recruitment efforts, implement curriculum changes aligned with project goals, coordinate and manage tasks between community partners, and fulfill various administrative duties. Ensuring the productivity of the project team, including partners, volunteers, interns, graduate students, and collaborators, will be essential to your success This role offers a unique blend of administrative and research activities, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the overall success of our initiatives. Additionally, there may be opportunities for you to provide support in administrative tasks, research, policy analysis, and writing for other related projects as needed. Job Qualifications

REQUIRED
Experience with data analysis and interpretation. Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Experienced in summarizing and presenting data for reports and presentation.
Experienced in research project coordination. Ability to prioritize group tasks, and manage projects & teams.
Strong problem solving skills. Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environment based on changing priorities and frequent interruptions.
Excellent team skills, interacting well with individuals of diverse backgrounds. Experience with establishing and maintaining effective and cooperative working relationships with faculty, staff, and research partners, and maintaining a helpful attitude at all times.
Experience with community outreach and community-based organizations.
Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively with a variety of individuals including faculty, staff, research partners and participants. .
Familiarity with data analysis software, such as SPSS, SAS, and/or Stata
STRONGLY PREFERRED
A master’s degree in public health, public policy, or other relevant field, and 2 years experience in a research setting, or comparable training and previous project coordination experience.
PREFERRED
Experience with Endnote reference management
Experience with data collection and/or analyses for medical research
Experience dealing with human subject and IRB submissions.
