The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for designing, developing and facilitating technical, safety, managerial, and business process training delivery.
DUTIES & SCOPE:
Design and develop programs and curriculum, partner with internal subject matter experts and/or external vendors to achieve defined training, learning and development objectives.
Collaborate with Corporate L&D and the extended Learning and Development team on solution development strategy, leverage existing solutions and resources and LMS capabilities.
Monitor training activities, manage content and provide recommendations for all training solutions based on business needs.
Develop and maintain L&OD communications such as LMS updates and schedules and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
Develop solutions for ad hoc projects and initiatives in support of organizational needs.
Establish measurement of the total effectiveness of all projects, programs, and initiatives in L&OD.
Partner with Head of L&OD to assist in overall L&OD initiatives focused on assessment, development, talent planning, career pathing for specific segments of the business.
Travel as needed to regional offices, jobsites, meetings and training events.
QUALIFICATIONS:
5-7 years of learning and development experience including developing, implementing, and delivering training
Excellent project management skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize, manage, and complete projects with tight deadlines.
Strong data analysis, marketing skills and a strong consultative approach.
Experience measuring and evaluating impact of learning programs.
High degree of customer service working with internal customers from all levels of the organization
Experience with learning management systems.
Self-starter that possesses a strong desire to seek optimal solutions and share discovery with colleagues.
Capable of performing in a fast-paced environment with measurable results.
Proficient with MS Office Suite; tech-savvy; agility in learning new systems and software
Strong ownership and accountability for work.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.
Preferred construction industry experience (or manufacturing, engineering or construction adjacent)
Experience with Project Manager and Project Engineer training is a plus.
Certifications in learning programs, personal assessments, and other proven learning tools are a plus.
The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $85,000-125,000. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.
