Job summary:

AEG Internship Program offers a real-world experience that allows college students to learn the business of sports and live entertainment. In the Business Services Department, interns will gain insight into sourcing and procurement best practices. The intern will work with stakeholders in IT, Presents and AEG Sports Teams. Also, the intern will work in the following areas: (a) sourcing, (b) negotiation, (c) research & data gathering, (d) purchase order creation, and (e) forms and file management.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Supplier Diversity to vet vendors
• Confirm vendor certification and/or membership status
• Help with strategic sourcing
• Engage with internal stakeholders
• Up-date department spreadsheets
• Research supply chain constraints
• AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee’s job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship. AEG may require an employee to perform duties outside his/her normal description.

Qualifications:

• Good customer service
• Highly organized, resourceful, and dependable with excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Pay Scale: $17.00 - $19.00
