As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Sweetgreen, you will lead the technology efforts for our New Restaurant Openings (NRO). Specifically…
You will:
- Learn the current progress of new restaurant openings (NROs) and provide support
- Provide ongoing updates on progress, risks, change management, and issue resolution
- Maintaining the NRO Project Plan and building strong partnerships with store development and operations teams
- Collecting and reporting value metrics to enable leaders to make decisions
- Managing vendor relationships and resources for technology installations for NROs
- Identifying, tracking, and resolving issues and monitoring risks for NROs
- Managing project costs and approving invoices for NROs
- Optimizing procurement, logistics, planning, scheduling, status communication, and resource allocation for NROs
- Participating in the procurement process and identifying cost savings opportunities for NROs
- Coaching junior project managers and training project management competencies to internal resources for NROs
- Responsible for end-to-end technology installation and configuration for NROs
- Designing and implementing an optimized framework for technology installations for NROs
- Responding to requests for new technology deployments with project estimates for NROs
- Expanding project management practices and assisting with PM talent acquisition for NROs
Desired Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 6+ years of experience in managing IT retail infrastructure projects
- PMP/PMI or equivalent certifications
- Strong experience with IT infrastructure equipment, engineering, and security systems
- Experience working with project management collaboration tools and managing internal and outsourced IT resources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle problem-solving.
