Responsibilities
Serves as the primary management control of aircraft gate planning and aircraft ramp movement.
Individuals have oversight of the gate planning and daily schedule integrity.
Communicate in a clear and effective manner all pertinent information to various work groups, vendors and levels of management. Ensuring local station requirements are met and support safety objectives.
Support and oversight of agents tasked with the weight and balance planning of each American Eagle branded flight.
Control the movement of aircraft in to and out of ramp/gate areas in a safe and efficient manner to achieve operational priorities for all carriers operating under the American Eagle brand along with other air carriers operating in Dallas/Fort Worth.
Coordinate with Air Traffic Control high values flights receive necessary priority without impact to airport surface movements, and making decisions regarding whether to hold or push a flight using all available tools and resources.
Assist management in the completion of additional administrative duties as needed.

Minimum age: 18
High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent
Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended state driver’s license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role
Ability to work a variety of rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating days off
Ability to actively listen - giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate.
Ability to use sound business judgment to resolve issues with internal and external customers by identifying the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Ability to monitor and assess performance of self, team members and the operation to make improvements or take corrective action.
Ability to prioritize and execute with a sense of urgency and preciseness.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
Possess the legal right to work in the United States
Previous Air Traffic Control experience preferred
2+ year's airline operational work experience, Including weight and balance planning preferred
Experience applying math principles for mathematical calculations preferred
Knowledge of company programs including Ascent Aris GM, GETNG, VantagePoint preferred
