Boeing's Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems Division is presently seeking Space Power Electronics Engineers of varying experience levels - Entry Level, Associate, and Experienced - to join our dynamic Space Electronics team based in El Segundo, CA.

Position Responsibilities
- Analyzing customer and system needs for electronic products
- Creating plans and designs for the product, making sure they meet the requirements
- Checking the product to ensure that it works properly, with special focus on Power Supply and Analog Circuit Design
- Keeping track of the progress and making sure everything is going according to plan
- Working with other engineers to make sure the product is made correctly
- Planning research projects to create new product designs that meet future needs
- Mentoring less experienced engineers to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in El Segundo. This worksite participates in Boeing’s optional 9/80 schedule rotation. 9/80 is a rotation in which employees can work 9 hour shifts, 8 days per pay period (bi-weekly) and receive every other Friday off.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (STEM and other Technical Degrees considered)
- Level 1: 0- 2 years of experience with Analog, Digital and/or Power Electronics
- Level 2: 1+ years of experience with Analog, Digital and/or Power Electronics
- Level 3: 3+ years of experience with Analog, Digital and/or Power Electronics
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Experience with power conditioning electronics, control system design and theory
- Experience with circuit design and analysis with focus on power supply and analog design
- Experience with and/or Knowledge of Electronics Test Methodology
- Experience with and/or Knowledge of Computer Design and Real Time Programming Languages (C++, VHDL, C and other hardware oriented languages)
- Firmware, Microprocessor or other Hardware oriented experience can be helpful (Not software)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Target Summary Pay Range:
Level 1: $59,000 - $104,000
Level 2: $71,000 - $127,000
Level 3: $87,000 - $154,000
