Summary: Develop, implement, and coordinate Quality Management program designed to ensure the compliance of products and processes consistent with established standards and customer requirements by measuring (KPI), performing and monitoring the performance of the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
Demonstrate commitment to core values by leading, and behaving in a manner consistent with these values.
Enforce all company safety and quality policies and procedures.
Function as ISO Management Representative.
Ensure that processes needed for the Quality Management System are established, implemented and maintained.
Report to Management on the performance of the Quality Management System and any need for improvement.
Schedule and facilitate Management Review as needed or required.
Maintain and improve ISO 9001-based Quality Management System.
Monitor and advise on how the quality management system is performing and publish data and reports regarding company performance against set quality objectives.
Work with managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the QA processes and systems are functioning properly. Where appropriate, advises on changes and their implementation and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality.
Conduct and lead weekly CAPA meetings to review customer issues and follow up with other departments to complete corrective and preventive actions.
Work with managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure compliance with UL, CCC and other agencies as required.
Problem Solving and Process Improvement
Review, develop and analyze statistical product and process data to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards and to assess effectiveness of the Quality processes and systems.
Initiate corrective and preventive action request as needed.
Process Development and Definition
Develop, implement and document Quality and Business Management System processes. Recommend modifications of existing quality, production, or business processes to achieve optimum quality within limits of process capability.
Make recommendations regarding facilities, equipment, procedures and systems to carry out Quality Management function.
Review and verify implementation of change management system and related document change control.
Procedure and Policy Implementation
Cooperate with other management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and objectives.
Coordinate implementation of newly released quality and work instruction documents.
Documentation and Data Control
Oversee Document Control process.
Review and approve corporate and system QMS documents to assure conformance to standards.
Maintain Quality section of the Equus Intranet.
Auditing
Oversee Internal Quality Audit program, including scheduling and reporting of audits.
Function as a member of Internal Audit Team and as Lead Auditor where required.
Schedule Internal Audits in conjunction with schedule.
Perform Internal Audits.
Schedule and lead external audit by ISO and other auditing agencies.
Control of Nonconforming Material
Develop and implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
Authorizes rework, repair or use-as-is dispositions when Quality resources not available.
Internal and External Interfaces
Play active role on quality management teams within organization.
Review complaint trends and product/component failure analysis; reviews corrective actions with appropriate senior managers.
Prepare reports and other documentation required by regulatory agencies to support the quality management function.
Participate in customer or supplier contact as needed to support Equus business interests and the Quality Management function.
Technical Support
Oversee the performance of calibration for all calibrated devices other than network-delivered software.
Training Deployment
Interpret Quality Management philosophy to key personnel in organization.
Interpret In conjunction with departmental managers, designs and implements Quality Management System training programs.
Conduct training sessions on quality management, Internal audits and process activities.
Essential Education, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have 2 to 4 years of experience with ISO9001 compliance process.
Preferred prior experience with Computer Industry.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information to employees at all organizational levels, customers, suppliers and/or public groups.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Pay Range: $100k - $125k
