Job Summary
BMA is seeking a Developmental and Interoperability Test & Evaluations (T&E Engineer) that will perform professional engineering assignments in support of T&E of C5ISR, AIS, and IT/NSS efforts in one or more of the following disciplines: communications, electronics, communications security, network analysis, electromagnetic capability, ECM/ECCM, C2 mission analysis, IOP analysis, system standards, military operations (ground, sea and air), program analysis, or program planning. This individual will have thorough knowledge of concepts and recent developments in the specialty area while providing expert consultation in one or more areas for the design, development, and implementation of technical services, products, and systems. Will be recognized as a technical leader and resource that typically reports to senior management.
Duties:

Recommend system and application architecture while providing vision, problem anticipation, and problem-solving abilities

Provide expert support for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.

Recommends process and infrastructure enhancements to improve the quality of services, products, and/or procedures.

Develop test strategies for complex systems and recommends test support devices, automation, and instrumentation.

Oversee the documentation, definition, and maintenance of internal quality control standards and reliability programs.

Plans and directs specialized engineers working on technical projects.

Develops and oversees processes to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Clearance Requirements
There is a Top-Secret clearance requirement for this position.
Required Skills & Certifications
- 4+ years' experience with a Doctorate or a master's degree OR 6+ years' experience with a bachelor's degree
- Degree must be in a relevant technical curriculum (Physics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or Mathematics) and experience must be related to job duties
- Related certifications in the area of specialization may be substituted for 1 year of experience. (DAWIA Test and Evaluation Certification, ENG Certification, CTEP Certification, United States Federal or DoD school training
