Job Summary
The Revenue Financial Analyst III is responsible for the daily management of financial activity of the Revenue received by L.A. Care. These duties includes revenue reconciliation, premium billing, monitoring the enrollment/disenrollment policies and procedures, journal entry preparation, heavy account analysis, month-end reconciliations and preparation of financial reporting tools and audit schedules. This position interfaces and serves as a liaison with multiple internal departments and external contacts.
Duties
Responsible for the reconciliations of multiple revenue streams. Ensuring disenrollment policy and procedures are practiced and monitored for accuracy.
Responsible for preparation of multiple billing and analysis of multiple Revenue streams.
Responsible for maintaining multiple schedules to track contract rate changes and ensure correct rate adjustment.
Accurate regulatory requirements interpretation.
Prepare month end reporting management tools accurately and analyze in a timely manner.
Prepare Journal Entries and perform related General Ledger analysis and reconciliation. Prepare audit schedules.
Prepare and participate in the completion of all assigned special projects.
Master the QNXT System Revenue Module.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Required
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Related Field
In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.
Education Preferred
Master's Degree in Finance or Related Field
Experience
Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
At least 5 years of experience in a managed healthcare setting (HMO and IPA).
Skills
Required: Strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
Excellent data management/ database skills.
Must have advanced PC Skills (Excel, Word, Access) ASP, and SQL or Monarch.
Extensive knowledge of premium billing
Preferred: Medi-Cal and Medicare knowledge.
QNXT application knowledge.
