You will also consolidate the subscriber forecast for SiriusXM’s entire business, preparing outputs for executives detailing overall business health and outlook. This role is on the front lines identifying key drivers of performance and setting long- and short-term targets for the business. What you’ll do: This position will assist the Subscriber Forecasting team by maintaining the forecast for the Streaming business, performing ad hoc analysis of subscriber initiatives and trends, and consolidating the subscriber forecast for SiriusXM’s overall business. This will require heavy usage of Excel, PowerPoint, and some SQL code writing. Supports monthly, quarterly, and long-term subscriber forecasts. Actualizes monthly and weekly reports and models, identifies opportunities/risks, and maintains version control Presents budget vs. actual analysis regularly to team leads Delivers ad-hoc reporting requests and identifies opportunities for automation and process improvement Coordinates with Marketing and Finance stakeholders on key model inputs and assumptions Works with IT to build, test, and validate solutions to automate routine tasks and create dashboards for executives and other stakeholder, using tools like Alteryx, Tableau, and Anaplan What you’ll need: Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel, Google Sheets, or equivalent) Good public speaking and presentation skills Ability to identify key trends from noisy data and communicate findings clearly Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels Ability and desire to learn new tool and methods (exposure to statistical analysis and SQL a plus) Ability to work independently and in a team environment Attention to detail (work product should be error-free) Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment Desire to improve processes to spend less time completing routine tasks Data visualization skills a plus Familiarity with presentation software a plus (PowerPoint, Google Slides, or equivalent) Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or related field 2 years, or equivalent, relevant experience working in an analytical or modeling role Must have legal right to work in the U.S. At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $80,000 to $100,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
